DIRECTIONS TO
THE PHOENIX THEATRE
 
By public transportation: Take BART, the MUNI underground, or any Muni bus on Market Street and exit at the Powell and Market station. Walk Powell Street three short blocks north to Geary, turn left and go one block to Mason. Turn right at the Max's Restaurant on the corner of Mason to the 414 Mason Building on the right side. The Theatre is on the sixth floor.
 
Parking: Street parking is very limited. We recommend the Sutter-Stockton Grage, a clean, well-lit, and low-cost evening parking structure run by the City a few blocks from the Theatre. Entrances are on Bush and Stockton (See The Sutter-Stockton Garage Map).
 
Driving from the East Bay: Just after reaching San Francisco, take the Fifth Street off ramp, continue West to Sixth Street and turn North. Continuing north on Sixth Street you cross Market Street onto Taylor Street. Six blocks further north you will be at the corner of Taylor and Post. Turn right to go one block to Mason and turn right again. The Theatre Building is on your left mid-block. To park, instead of turning at Post, continue on Taylor to Bush, turn right and go two blocks to the Stockton Parking Garage on your right.
 
Driving from the South Bay: Take either the Sixth Street exit from Highway 280 or the Seventh Street exit from Highway 101. Continuing north on Sixth Street you cross Market Street onto Taylor Street. Six blocks further north you will be at the corner of Taylor and Post. Turn right to go one block to Mason and turn right again. The Theatre Building is on your left mid-block. To park, instead of turning at Post, continue on Taylor to Bush, turn right and go two blocks to the Stockton Parking Garage on your right.
 
Driving from the North Bay: Cross the Golden Gate Bridge, and continue east on Lombard Street. Turn South (right) on Van Ness Avenue. About two miles later you turn East (left) onto Bush Street continuing until you reach the Stockton Parking Garage on your right.
